Travel to Islay

Calmac FerryBy Car
Drive to Kennacraig in Argyll and Bute. From Glasgow, this journey takes about 2.5 hours. Take the A82 up Loch Lomondside, turning onto the A83 at Tarbet. Continue on through both Inverarary and Lochgilphead towards Tarbert on Loch Fyne. The ferry port of Kennacraig is just five miles on from Tarbert. Please note that it is simply a terminal and not a town or village.

By Bus
A daily bus service operates from Glasgow Buchanan Street Bus Station (West Coast Motors), making a connection with the ferry at Kennacraig. Contact the Travel Centre at Buchanan Street on + 44 (0) 141 332 7133, or visit www.citylink.co.uk
